We are the only U.S. marketers of some of the models of these elegant leather gloves imported from Italy. These leather gloves represent the finest example of dedication to the unique artistic creativity and manual skills historically associated with the Campania region of Italy. They are rigorously hand-made, of lambskin, kidskin or suede and lined in cashmere or silk. They are available in a wide range of colors and styles from simple day wear gloves, up to and including opera gloves. In short, these are exquisite leather gloves that provide a unique, tactile experience, are dedicated to elegance, and designed to enhance the timeless value of accessories for the modern woman.

I was born and raised in Venice, Italy. In 1970 I took my first vacation to the United States. At that time I never thought I would meet the love of my life and move here. Norm and I were married after spending two years in a long distance, bi-continental romance. We married in 1972 and have lived here since.

Several years ago my brother opened the first ‘only gloves’ store featuring leather gloves in Venice, Italy. To everyone’s surprise, he soon opened a second store in Venice. The stores were successful to the extent that he now plans to establish stores throughout Europe. Because the greatest numbers of his customers were American, we discussed ways by which we might make these stylish and elegant leather gloves and accessories available here. My husband and I live in the warm southwest where a ‘gloves only’ store would have a very short lifespan. We then came up with the idea of the on-line market, and that is how Solo Classe was born. These elegant gloves are made of the softest leather imaginable. We import them directly from the factory in picturesque Naples. So, “Il Polo della Qualita” represents the finest example in Italy of a poly-productive and multifunctional center that is dedicated to the fashion and the jewelry of the region Campania that for over a century has meant art, creativity, manual skill, tailoring and rigorously hand-made technique.

The manufacturer, through its new showroom, chooses the place to spread its luxury products. It boasts a tradition of over 60 years in the hand-made production of leather gloves for men and women, particularly in nappa, lamb, kid, suede, unlined or lined in cashmere, silk or rabbit. The manufacturer represents ‘made in Italy’, but mainly ‘made in Naples’ all over the world, thanks to the very good quality/price ratio of the products and the professionalism and passion of its craftsmen. The styles are unique and designed for women to wear during the day and at elegant gatherings. Developed in a wide range of colors and styles, they are formulated to enhance the timeless value of accessories for the modern woman.

At present, Solo Classe is the only North American outlet for these models of ‘stylish and elegant leather gloves’. We are proud to make them available to everyone on this side of the Atlantic.
